Maintenance & Long-Term Care
Shore Tracker Marine Railway Systems are engineered for years of trouble-free service. Following these simple maintenance steps will help ensure safe and reliable operation:
Limit Switch Safety Notice
For safety reasons, the use of limit switches is not recommended on Shore Tracker Marine Railway Systems. Installing limit switches will void any warranty offered by D.H. Docks & Tracks.
Safe operation requires the operator to maintain full visual control of the system at all times. The winch controls should be positioned to allow clear visibility of the entire track and carriage path, ensuring no people, animals, or obstructions are present.
Because boat positioning on the carriage can vary, limit switches may not stop the system reliably. Improper stopping could result in contact with the boathouse or other structures.
